We will be hearing from Jessie de Carlos, Director of Field Engineering at Likewise Software, Inc.  Jesse will be presenting on Likewise’s integrated authentication and identity management solution.

Jessie de Carlos, a 2 year Likewise veteran, is currently the Director of Field Engineering at Likewise Software, Inc.  Previously, he has worked companies like HP (Software), Mercury Interactive, and MCI Worldcom (UUNET) providing enterprise class solutions for all different types of companies to meet their business needs and drive value for IT.  Prior to working on the commercial side of IT, Jessie spent 6 years at Texas Heart Institute / St. Luke’s Hospital in their IT department.

Likewise is an open source company that provides integration and identity management solutions to improve security and operational efficiencies and to help achieve regulatory compliance in mixed networks. Likewise Open lets organizations securely authenticate Linux, Unix and Mac users with Microsoft Active Directory. In addition, we will chat about the Window 7, Windows Server 2008 R2 and Exchange 2010 launch events that happened locally and to get feedback to bundle up together to give Microsoft.
