Splunk software www.splunk.com has agreed to be the sponsors of our December 2nd meeting. (Splunk offers a FREE log file consolidation utility which all of you should be using.) The format for this meeting is going to be different, we are turning into a hands on workshop where you will “Learn IT today, Use IT tomorrow”. To participate bring a laptop with VMware Server (1.x preferred or 2.x), already installed. We will provide you with 2 (VMDKs) of Server 2008. (About 8 gigs.) You will also need to bring a 4-8 port hub (or cross over cable), and power strip.
