Meeting Date and Time: October 4th, 2011 – 6:30pm

Technical Presentation: What is Private Cloud?
The technology world is flocking to the Cloud. Public Cloud, Hybrid Cloud, Private Cloud? What exactly is Cloud computing? Why is it so desirable? How will it change the way we do business?

Cloud computing refers to the ability to deploy and consume IT services over the Web; it is based on the concepts of being highly virtualized, managed in a consistent manner, dynamic, and offering elastic scalability. Enterprise interest in cloud computing is growing rapidly, and analysts consistently predict increased spending/adoption over the next few years. Cloud computing can help organizations reduce costs, increase IT efficiency and productivity, deliver continual access for remote users, and increase business agility.

Join us for a fun and informative discussion on the current and future state of Cloud computing and the role that Private cloud will play in that future.
